Attention: The violation of standing and stopping rules creates a traffic jam

The State Traffic Police Department of Baku city addressed the drivers caused traffic jams in the capital by violating standing and stopping rules. It was revealed that standing, stopping and parking rules are seriously violated in Ismail bey Gutgashinli, Bakhtiyar Vahabzadeh (especially in front of Baku State University), Sharifzadeh streets and Gara Garayev avenues.
In Yasamal district, Ismail bey Gutgashinli street, only one strip is used while the road is two-directional. Because the front of different companies, medical institutions and other facilities located here is used as a parking place. There are problems with the movement of vehicles, because automobiles are parked perpendicular to the sidewalk other than parallel. It should be noted that the Fire Protection Brigade is located in that area. In the appeal of STP, it is noted that the normal traffic of firefighting machine is impossible because of the automobiles parked illegally in the street.
During the investigations carried out in Nizami district, Gara Garayev Avenue, it is revealed that more than 600 buses move along the avenue during the day. While examining the trajectory of the buses, it became clear that most of them were engaged in passenger transportation on the same route. As buses are owned by individual companies, each company plans intervals separately and eventually, 5 buses enter the bus stop at the same time. Because of the cars parked there, passengers get on and out of the bus stopped on the live part of the road. This creates serious dangers in the field of passenger transportation. The mentioned cases are being observed in Yasamal district, Sharifzadeh, Bakhtiyar Vahabzadeh, as well as in other streets and avenues of the capital.
