A woman - resident of the capital appealed to the 29th Police Station of Yasamal District Police Department, informing that an unknown person had stolen her handbag with 1800 manat in it in front of a clothing store at 8 A.Ahmadov Street.

As a result of a search operation carried out by the 29th PS of Yasamal DPD a resident of Masalli Emin Mammadov, who was suspected of committing the said crime, was detained. During measures conducted around him it was found out that he had stolen 983 manats from Shamkhal Zulfugarov's pocket, 1130 manats from Bahruz Gassimov's pocket and 440 manats from another woman's purse.

A criminal case has been filed in the Investigation Department of the Yasamal District Police Department with regard to the stated facts. It is not excluded that E.Mammadov participated in other similar crimes.
