According to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the person who committed a series of thefts from the apartments in the Khatai district was detained. As a result of operational search activities conducted by officers of the Khatai District Police Department, Emin Jabbarov, a previously convicted resident of the capital, was detained.

He claimed that he had stolen from 4 apartments in Khatai district and 1 apartment in Yasamal district. E.Jabbarov mainly stole jewels and money from the apartments in the daytime, while the owners were at work.

The detainee noted in his testimony that during the theft in search of valuable things he did not turn everything upside down so that the owners of the houses would not suspect anything. Carefully searching the apartment and taking the money and gold, E.Jabbarov left the crime scene.

A criminal case has been initiated in the Investigation Department of the Khatai DPD, and the investigation continues.
