According to the information provided by the Press Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the resident of Mashtagha settlement, suspected on engaging in agro-technical cultivation of narcotic plants, a former convicted person Jeyhun Mutallimzada was detained as a result of another successful operation carried out by officers of the 14th Police Station of Sabunchu District Police Department.

During the inspection of the hotbed with a total area of 400 square meters in the courtyard of his garden house, 550 pieces of hemp bushes weighing 630 kilograms were discovered. Jeyhun Mutallimzada acknowledged in his statement that he had planted out narcotic herbs some time ago and had grown up with special care. His purpose was to sell hemp bushes after drying up.

During an additional searching, 2 kilograms 400 grams of dried marijuana, electronic weighing machine and a “BSM-121 Stranser” branded shotgun were founded and seized from the hotbed belonging to J. Mutallimzada.

Materials collected in connection with this fact at the Police station no. 14 were sent to the Investigation Department of the Police Department of Sabunchu District Police Department. Operations and investigations are underway.
