On November 11, at the secondary school No. 322 of Buzovna settlement, Khazar district, a regular educational meeting was held with students on the topic "Drug addiction is a universal disaster", organized by the Public Security Department of the Baku city MPD and Khazar DPD.

Speaking at the event, the head of the Public Security Department, Colonel-Lieutenant Maryam Omarova spoke about the rights and obligations of minors, as well as the law “On the restriction of the use of tobacco products”, which makes it possible to prevent the acquisition and use of tobacco products by them, about preventive and administrative measures carried out by the police in this regard; she gave the necessary recommendations in order to protect children from bad habits and, in general, to prevent offenses.

The chief of the division of the Khazar DPD, police major Samir Aghayev, informed students about drug addiction and its serious consequences, spoke about the fight against illicit trafficking in drugs and psychotropic substances and the importance of educational activities.

At the end of the event, the questions interesting children were answered.
