Employees of the Nasimi District Police Department carried out further operations in the areas known as “Papanin”, “Kubinka” - on the streets of Jalil Mammadguluzada, Nakhchivani, Asaf Zeynalli and Namig Malikov. During the event, another 13 people were detained, involved in drug trafficking and sale at the specified addresses. About 2 kilograms of heroin, opium, methamphetamine and illicit psychotropic drugs were found in these individuals. The detainees said that they purchased drugs for personal use, as well as for sale in the capital. As a result of the operation, it was also established that some of the detainees were engaged in drug propaganda among young people and teenagers.
The collected materials on the facts were sent to the investigation department of the Nasimi DPD. By a court decision, a preventive measure was chosen against each of these persons, and operational-search activities are ongoing.
