A statement on carjacking of “Volkswagen Passat” car belonging to Baku resident A. Gasimov on February 5 by 12 o'clock was submitted to Binagadi DPD.

In response to the statement, operational measures were immediately initiated. As a result of the operative-searching measures carried out by police officers, a resident of Tovuz region suspected of carjacking F. Guluzadeh was detained along with the car at around 8:00 pm on the same day.

The investigation continues.
